Ethiopia: Kengen Completes First Drilling At Tulu Moye Geothermal Site

Work is progressing on the Tulu Moye geothermal site in Ethiopia. Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen), the company carrying out the field work, has just completed the 1st geothermal drilling at the site in the Oromia region of southwest Ethiopia. Kengen Announces 9% Profit Increase nn Year Ended 31 December 2020

TGDC plans to produce 200MWe of geothermal energy by 2025
