Kenya- First Phase of Menengai Power Plant Almost Complete

 Johnson Nchoe, Geothermal Development Company CEO Engineer says the first phase of the new power plant in Menengai is in the last stages of development.   In 2015, Kenya injected 280 mw of geothermal energy to the national grid pushing up the installed capacity to 2,327 MW. Kenya- The Cheap Power Plans Going To Benefit Small Businesses

 Kenya Power has plans to connect small and medium enterprises to cheap power. Kenya- Cheaper Night Power Tariff To Be Introduced In December

$16 Million Tantalum Plant to be developed in Rwanda

Hyacinth Power Plant to be constructed by Local Kenyan Firm

Symbion to Co-Invest $100 million In Methane Gas Project in Rwanda

 Symbion CEO, Paul Hinks has announced that they will collaborate with Highland Group Ltd to make an investment of $100 million to generate 106 megawatts of methane power on Lake Kivu in Rwanda.    The lake has an estimated 55 billion cubic meters of naturally occurring methane gas. Kenya Power- Network Expansion To Cost Ksh 40B
