Rwanda launches first peat-fired power plant in Africa

Tanzania: Construction of New 33KW Power Line Complete, Will Help Pump More Water to Dar

Rwanda: Stock Exchange Takes Steps to Infuse Liquidity, Boost Trade Volumes

Tanzania Aims to Triple Power Generation Output by 2020

Ethiopia: GERD Power Generation Capacity Increased to 6450 MW

The Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) power generation capacity has been upgraded to 6,450 MW.   The Dam was first designed to generate 5,250 MW.
