EU gives out Sh13.9 billion for geothermal generation

The European Union has donated about Sh13.94 billion (123 million euros) for geothermal exploration in Kenya, head of European Investment Bank Catherine Collin has said. Kenya Power changes tack in war on transformer vandals

Kenya Power transformer suppliers will have to shift to converters that contain aluminium windings, as opposed to copper ones currently in use as the utility firm moves to tame vandals who have cost it dearly. Rwanda: Adding 23mw to National Grid Tops Mininfra Priorities This Fiscal Year
