US$ 10.8m agreement signed for renewable energy projects in Kenya

The construction of 78km Powerline in Burundi launched

A US$ 36m powerline in Burundi that was constructed to link the capital Bujumbura, from the Ruzizi II hydroelectric dam in Kamanyola at the Democratic Republic of Congo has been launched by Burundi’s Deputy President Dr. Joseph Butore. Tanzania Starts Construction Works Of Power Interconnection Project With Kenya

Egypt: First Coal-Operated Power Station to Be Established in March At U.S.$3 Billion

Gas discovery in Africa to boost energy export

Kenya Power Net Profit Rises to Sh7.4 Billion

Amu Power confirms construction of coal fired power plant in Kenya

AFDB boosts electricity access in rural East Africa
