Kenya: Africa’s biggest wind power project commences

Renewable power technology is on the rise

In North Africa, Egypt’s New and Renewable Energy Authority (NREA) will soon call for interested bidders to submit proposals for the construction of solar and wind power plants with a total generation capacity exceeding 2,000MW. SEFA doubled its grant portfolio to small- to medium- sized clean energy projects in 2014

More Kenyans in rural areas applying for cheap power connection

Wind power plant in Meru, Kenya set to generate 400MW of power
