African Development Bank Commits $25 Billion to Strengthen the Renewable Energies Sector

Renewable energy, especially solar energy, is the key to driving Africa's economic development and combating climate change, said the African Development Bank (AfDB) president, while providing $ 25 billion in a new climate funding between 2020 and 2025. East Africa's Power Output poised to reach 7,480MW by 2022

Ethiopia and Djibouti signs deal to build 765km pipeline

The government of Ethiopia and Djibouti has signed a deal to build a 765km pipeline to transport gas from the landlocked state to Djibouti, partly bordered by the red sea. Construction of Kenya-Tanzania Power Interconnection Project Gears Up to Connect Southern Africa Power Pool
